SMSD Transportation Provider - DS Bus Lines

Annual bus registration is required for ALL Horizons students who plan to ride the bus.  Fill out the Annual Bus Registration form and return it to the Horizons office in person or to Wenonah Carmody.

To receive FREE BUSING to Horizons:

1. You must be enrolled in Horizons High School
2. You must live within the Shawnee Mission School District boundaries
3. You must fill out a Bus Registration form and return it to Horizons High School. (Required EACH year).

Information About Bussing

DS Bus does their best to provide a bus route for each student.  Please allow 1 1/2 weeks after you submit your bus form for them to contact you with your pick up/drop information. 

Students riding school buses must follow all district safety expectations (Expectations in Spanish). Violations of bus regulations may result in the student receiving appropriate and prescribed disciplinary actions, which may include being removed from the bus and/or suspension from school. To help ensure compliance with necessary safety expectations, video cameras may be used on school buses.
